The On-Premise (installed) version of SpendMap supports popular SQL databases (typically used by larger organizations) as well as an embedded/built-in database for smaller customers.
Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
These popular relational database engines have no practical user limit but require some knowledge of RDBMS to setup and maintain.
Embedded Database
With the database built right into the application itself (i.e. SpendMap), no additional database software is needed. However, the embedded database technology is not as robust and fault tolerant as the other supported databases and should be limited to around five (5) concurrent users (unlimited total/named users).
